Chomp Supply: What's your favourite food? Why?
Tabitha: My favorite food is potatoes in any form. When I was pregnant, I had Hyperemesis gravidarum & the only thing I could keep down was potatoes. Ironically, my 10 month old looks like a potato.
CS: What's your favourite vacation spot? Why?
T: Mexico! We recently went on a family cruise and it was my first time leaving the country. The culture and atmosphere was amazing. The beach was so relaxing!
CS: Tell us a bit about yourself and your family
T: I am a new mom to Rowan, who is the inspiration and motivation to this business. We went through 3 years of infertility to get pregnant either Rowan. I am not a SAHM working on building my small business to help support my family! We have 4 dogs & 5 cats, too!
CS: Describe your creative style
T: Fresh & vintage inspired.
CS: How did you get into crafting?
T: I have always been crafty since before I can remember. I can do a little bit of everything from sewing, knitting and vinyl work. I love it all but have truly found my best creative side in bead work. Which is funny because my grandmother makes jewelry from beads, too.
CS: What was the first thing you ever made?
T: Ever? I started making wreaths about ten years ago and loved it!
CS: What project/product are you most proud of?
T: My teethers. They are not easy and I have put a lot of thought into it over the last year!
CS: What does your current work space look like?
T: Messy! Haha. It’s in our guest room but we’re getting ready to take the bed out so that we can fit more room for my work!
CS: What does your dream work space look like?
T: Clean 🤣 a bigger, spacious, fresh room.
CS: How do you balance work and home life?
T: Still working on this one....
CS: Where do you see your business going in the next five years?
T: My goal is to make $100,000.00 in the next five years!
CS: What advice would you give to someone looking to start their own small business?
T: Research and do not compare yourself to others!
CS: What do you love most about Chomp?
T: Their kindness and willingness to help whenever!
CS: What would you like to see Chomp carry in the future?
T: The solid colored coffee cups, cactus & game boys!
