How are you holding up? Going bananas yet? Or have you found a way to remain calm throughout this all?
If you're like me, you might be riddled with stress and anxiety - babes, I'm losing my mind with my kids home all day long!!
So, I started researching things to do to keep them busy, which then led to searching for things to keep me busy (from a wellness perspective). Thankfully, Pinterest and my small shop friends had he covered!
Here's a collection of some incredible resources, free classes and DIY tutorials to help keep your family entertained, engaged and connected through craft.
I was also able to snag a few special discounts just for you guys. If you purchase anything (and thank you SO much for supporting the small shop community if you do, you're a freaking rockstar!), make sure to double check to see if there's a way to save some extra dollars.
Also, for those of you budgetting right now, don't you fret! A lot of these ideas are FREE!!!
I hope you all find at least one useful take-away in here. Be sure to let me know what your fave tip is in the comments!
Lots of love,
Keep your self, your partner & all your kiddos busy during self-isolation by learning a new skill! Our friends over at bluprint have ever so graciously open up their entire vault of courses FOR FREE until April 9th!
Guys, they have over 1300 courses that cover everything from sewing, cooking, family crafts and DIY projects. There really is something for everyone!
I'm personally eyeing up the Doodling class as it was a creative goal for 2020 for me to use my iPad more for doodling and creative art.
While Netflix is awesome, you can only watch Love is Blind so many times. What you need is a hobby - something engaging, absorbing and fun. And while Hoopla Letters might be biased, she thinks calligraphy fits the bill quite nicely (I kinda agree with her). She's gathered a wonderful collection of ways for you to learn and practice your calligraphy at home - no hand sanitizer required.
Our friend Cat at Ctrl + Curate came up with this incredible collection of DIY Ideas that don't suck. They're all freaking adorable and I'm personally about to tell Salar to dig out the copper wire we have in the garage so I can DIY myself an amazing statement necklace and then feel super proud of myself while I rock it with my quarantine outfits. Who's with me?!
Have you seen the brand new Craft Party Kits that we launched?! They come in 9 incredible palettes and are wonderful for making toddler and kids crafts such as necklaces, bracelets, zipper pulls, bag tags and more! Tag your finished project on Instagram with the hashtag #madewithchompsupply for a chance to win your purchase!
